Insect pests of Crops

Tawi College organized a Guest Lecture in its Management Department for students of B. Sc. Agriculture on “Insect pests of Crops”
The Speaker for the lecture was Dr. Rahul Joshi, who is presently working with zoological Survey of India, Bihar as an Scientist-C having specialization in entomology research over the past 5 years. Dr. Deepak Sharma, Principal Tawi College, extended warm welcome to the guest speaker.
Dr. Joshi discussed the minute details about the subject and students were acquainted with Insect Classification & Adaptive Features. He also introduced the students to many exclusive examples and challenges as an entomologist at large with reference to different crops. He shared his own experiences about his innovation and growth for decades and also shared his views about his ongoing R&D projects. Dr Joshi also visited labs. and interacted with students personally and appreciated the efforts being placed by the management for student education.
